Anger management is a program designed for those who need tools and coping mechanisms to overcome ineffective emotional responses to people, circumstances, and decisions. If the court has ordered a class completion in Anger Resolution Therapy (and they do), this can be completed with my service and a certificate of completion is given.
Human nature – its simplicity, complexity and beauty — suggests that we possess a willingness to share and reveal parts of ourselves. In fact, we are at most times eager to offer a glimpse into our lives — to expose our best self — the HEART of who we are — for understanding and acceptance.
To gain a deeper knowledge of people we experience in our lives, it’s essential to consider the unknown. As leaders, teachers, supervisors, parents, as individuals, we all have a responsibility to ourselves and others to capture what yet has to be identified by the conscious mind…its brilliance and power possesses the ability to corporately change the world.
Based on years of successful teaching and mentoring to harness the mind’s brilliance to change the world…one student…one individual at a time, the following HEART learning modules were created:
Project H.E.A.R.T: Harnessing Empathy for At-Risk Teens/Teachers®
This module emphasizes intelligent, healthy empathy and rapport-building with students through teacher self-reflection. Through the combined strategies of motivational speaking, personal classroom experiences, and transcending theories, teachers become empowered and motivated to apply their own part in the holistic pedagogical practices of “the whole student”— mind, body and spirit.
H.E.A.R.T.S: Harnessing Empathy and Rapport for Today’s Supervisors®
This proactive module uses classroom-style concepts and tools to empower today’s supervisors for today’s success — a bridging of rapport, empathy, and expectations. Regardless of age and socioeconomic status, the gift of this concept is that empathy and rapport is the breeding ground for success from morale building to strategic relationships, to cultural diversity understanding. If you think they can do it…they will.
- Conflict resolution
- Diversity and tolerance training
- Activating your personal power to meet your goals (Leadership Seminar)
- Team building exercises
- Empathy and Rapport Awareness (Customer Service & Management Relations)
HEART 2 HEART®
A character-building program for youth that applies the Project H.E.A.R.T model as a practice to instill life-skill traits such as self-esteem, anger management, goals and responsibilities, tolerance, diversity and much more to empower the whole child. This component of the Heart Initiative® offers students skills for living using character education as a conduit for deeper levels of reflection while encouraging the student to “own” their choices that affect their present and future to develop an understanding of self-identity.
